Product Quality:

Redevelopment lime color is an all natural (no chemical additives), wet mixed lime colour, made of high-quality lime putty, finely ground white marble flour and a minute percentage of cellulose. Redevelopment lime is not only economic due to it's high opacity, but it is also smear proof. To increase the bonding abilities and ease the commercial application on building exteriors, a hydrolic agent has been added to the tub (“Zur Erhöhung der Bindekraft und einer wirtschaftlichen Anwendung im Außenbereich wird dem Eimer ein natürlicher Hydraulefaktor beigelegt”).  Furthermore, redevelopment lime color lithifies by absorbing carbon dioxide from the air; this process makes these coatings insoluble in water and therefore very durable. This lithification (“carbonatization”) process is ameliorated by moisture.

Redevelopment lime color can be mixed with all NATURAL pigment pastes (up to max. of 8% per 15kg tub). Our program also includes ready-to-use, mixed colours and can be mixed to match any existing colour.

Processing Temperature:

Redevelopment lime color should only be applied if air and ground temperatures are above 6° C. For outdoor use, application should only proceed in good weather conditions (avoid strong winds, rain or direct sunlight).

Tip:

If temperatures exceed 28° C, dampen the surface with wet clothes prior to application. Full opacity is only reached after complete drying.. Drying times are heavily influenced by temperature and weather conditions and can vary anywhere between 12 hours to a couple of weeks.
